Deck complete!
For teachers and parents
- • Whole class: project a card, ask pupils to write the answer on a mini-whiteboard, then flip.
- • Pairs: one child holds the card, the other answers. Swap after each card.
- • Levels: start at O’clock and move up. “Any minute” suits Years 3–4 (Grades 3–4).
- • No dead ends: each session shuffles new cards, and “Play again” makes a fresh set.
Questions
How do flashcards help with telling time?
Short, repeated practice helps children remember the clock patterns. Each card asks them to say the answer first, then flip to check, which is more effective than just reading it.
What happens when I press “Try again”?
The card goes to the back of the pile and comes round again until you get it right, so every card is learned by the end.
Can I use these in class?
Yes. Put them on the whiteboard and ask the class to say the answer together before you flip the card. Use the level buttons to match your class.
